Two killed in separate incidents in Tangail
Two persons died in separate incidents in two different areas of Tangail district Thursday.
Two persons died in separate incidents in two different areas of Tangail district Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Latif Mia, 40, hailed from Karotia Charpara village in Sadar upazila and Moti, 65, an inhabitant of Dhubli village under
Bhuapur upazila of the district.
Latif Mia died on the spot as a truck hit him in Karotia Charpara area on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway under Sadar upazila this morning.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Aminul Islam belongs to Elenga Highway police camp said his body was sent to Tangail General Hospital for autopsy.
Police seized the truck.
Meanwhile, another person, Moti, died as a train hit him around 12:30 pm near Jhanjhania Rail Level crossing in Bhuapur upazila this noon when he was
walking through the rail line.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Farid Ahmed of Bhuapur Thana confirmed.
Cases are being processed to file with the concerned police stations in these connections.
