Man dies falling off ladder in Dhaka
A man died falling off a ladder at Sabujbag in the city early Tuesday.
Dhaka, Dec 7 : A man died falling off a ladder at Sabujbag in the city early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 57, son of late Nurul Haque, hailing from Rajarchar village of Munshiganj sadar upazila.
Tania Akhter, daughter of the deceased, said his father went to the rooftop of their house with an iron ladder to see the water tank around 11pm.
At one stage he fell down with the ladder and suffered serious head injuries.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries around 3:15am, said Inspector Md Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.
Bachchu Mia said the body was kept at the morgue for an autopsy, reports UNB.
