Two killed as bus hits auto-rickshaw in Jhenidah
Two people were killed and two others injured after a bus hit an auto-rickshaw at Shailkupla upazila in Jhenidah .
Two people were killed and two others injured after a bus hit an auto-rickshaw at Shailkupla upazila in Jhenidah district on Thursday.
One of the deceased was identified as Swapon Hossain, 40, son of Akkas Ali, hailed from Harinakundu upazila in the district
Locals said a bus hit an auto-rickshaw from the opposite direction in Garaganj area in the afternoon, leaving one dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured were, later, rushed to Shailkupa Upazila Health Complex where another person succumbed to his injuries.
Arappur Highway Police Station officer in-charge Mizanur Rahman said a team from the police station was sent to the spot.
