Motorcyclist killed in road crash at Hanif flyover

A youth was killed as his motorbike skipped on the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover in Jatrabari on Friday.



A youth was killed as his motorbike skipped on the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover in Jatrabari on Friday (September 15).

The deceased was known as Md Rony, 20, son of Joz Mia, hailed from Sonargaon of Narayanganj.

Yeasin Hossain, a cousin of the victim said that Rony along with his friends went to Mawa at night. But, the accident occurred in the area when they were returning home from Mawa, leaving Rony injured critically. Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

DMCH police outpost in-charge Md Bacchu Mia said the body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
