Motorcyclist killed in city road crash
A motorcyclist was killed when a truck rammed his bike in Amin Mohammadpur Green town area of Mugda in the capital.
A motorcyclist was killed when a truck rammed his bike in Amin Mohammadpur Green town area of Mugda in the capital on Thursday night (September 29).
The deceased was known as Md Imon Khandakar, 40, son of Tofazzal Hossain, hailed from Kutipra village of Gaibandha Sadar.
Sources said carrying two people, a motorcycle was crossing the area around 10:00pm. Meanwhile, a truck hit it from backside, leaving the bike driver Imon and its pillion Faruk critically injured.
Later, the injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared Imon dead.
DMCH police outpost in-charge Mohammad Bacchu Mia said the body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
