Woman killed being hit by bus in Gulshan
An elderly woman was killed after being hit by a bus at Norda area of Gulshan in the capital on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Jahanara Khatun Tahera, 65, wife of late Jasim Uddin, a resident of Bhatara Narda Saudi Mosque area.
Quoting locals, Gulshan Police Station sub-inspector Md Alamgir Hossain said that a Rajdhani Paribahan bus hit the woman while she was crossing the road at Norda bus stand area around 4:45 pm on Friday, leaving her critically injured.
Locals took her to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Being informed, police seized the bus and arrested the driver, he said.
Later, the body was sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy, the SI added.
