Two BNP leaders were killed as a bus hit their motorcycle in Chauddagram of Cumilla on Monday evening.



Two BNP leaders were killed as a bus hit their motorcycle in Chauddagram of Cumilla on Monday evening.

The deceased are Delwar Hossain, 40, at Lalbagh village under Sadar South Upazila, and Irfanur Haq Manik, 41, son of Mohon Mia at Gilatoli village. They both were Juba Dal leaders.

According to sources, a Feni-bound bus of Jamuna Paribahan hit their motorcycle in front of Taj Hotel on Dhaka-Chattogram highway around 6:30pm, leaving them seriously injured. They were immediately taken to Cumilla Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
