2 hurt in city cocktail blast

The injured were known as Shakil Hossain, 26, and Ashikur Rahman, 30.



Two people were injured in a cocktail blast on Bailey Road in city’s Shantinagar area on Tuesday night (November 29).

The injured were known as Shakil Hossain, 26, and Ashikur Rahman, 30.

Sources said that some miscreants blasted a cocktail in the area around 10:30 pm, leaving the two people injured. Later, they were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH police camp in-charge Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter.
