Man killed, 20 injured in Cumilla road accident

A 25-year-old man was killed and at least 20 passengers sustained injuries in an accident involving a bus and a tractor in Krishnapur area of Laksam upazila under Cumilla district on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Sifat Hossain, son of Motaleb Hossain of Amishapara area of Sonaimuri Upazila under Noakhali district.
Laksam Police Station Sub-Inspector Borhan Uddin Bhuiyan said a collision between a passenger bus and a tractor left a youth dead and 20 others injured, reports UNB.
Meanwhile, the injured were rescued and sent to different hospitals in Laksham.
The bus was taken into custody by the highway police station.
