Election official killed after lorry rams bike in capital
Deceased Al Mamun, 46, was an election officer. He used to live at a flat in Mohammadpur with his family.
A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in the city's Airport Road area on Wednesday night.

Mamun met the tragic end of his life while returning home from his Uttara office by his motorbike at 10pm. A lorry hit his bike on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway of the Airport Road area.
Local residents rescued him and took him to Kurmitola General Hospital. Mamun was, later, shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries at about 11:30pm.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said DMCH police outpost in-charge inspector Md Bachchu Miah
