3 killed in city's Khilkhet road crash

The accident took place at around 9 pm near Khilkhet Bazar Jatri Chhauni.
Three people, including a woman and a child, were killed after being run over by a reckless car under Khilkhet foot over bridge in the capital on Wednesday night.

The deceased were Yasin, 8, Amrina Haque, 27, and Ujjal Pandey, 26.
Khilkhet Police Station officer-in-charge Sheikh Aminul Bashar confirmed the news.
He said a jeep lost control and ran over four pedestrians. A child died on the spot and three others were injured. The injured were rescued and sent to Dhaka Medical Hospital where two were declared dead by doctors.
The jeep was seized but the driver escaped, the OC added.
