2 college students killed in Tangail road crash

The deceased were known as Shakil Ahmed, 19, son of Setab Ali, and Masum Mia, son of Adam Ali.



Two college students were killed in a road accident at Sheikh Hasina bridge in Kedarpur of Nagarpur upazila in Tangail on Sunday morning (January 14).

The deceased were known as Shakil Ahmed, 19, son of Setab Ali, and Masum Mia, son of Adam Ali.

Motasir Billah, Sub-Inspector (SI) at Nagarpur police station said a speedy truck rammed a motorcycle in the area, leaving the two riders of the bike dead on the spot. The accident took place due to dense fog.

The bodies will be handed over to the victim’s family after legal steps, the cop added.
