A mother and her daughter were crushed under the wheels of a train of Chattogram-bound Subarna Express at Narsingdi Railway Station on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Sabina Akter, 30, and her 2-year-old daughter Maimuna.
Sinha, 5, another daughter of victim Sabina Akter, was critically injured in the accident and was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment, reports UNB.
Md. Shohidullah, in charge (Sub-Inspector) of Narsingdi Railway Police, said the Subarna Express train was passing through Narsingdi Railway Station at high speed around 6 pm on Saturday.
Suddenly, Sinha ran onto the rail track. When Sabina along with her younger daughter, Maimuna tried to rescue Sinha, the train hit them, leaving two of them dead on the spot, he added.
