A fire that broke out at a furniture factory in the North Badda area of Dhaka on Friday has been brought under control.



 A fire that broke out at a furniture factory in the North Badda area of Dhaka on Friday has been brought under control, officials said.

The fire started at 11.54am in the factory and it took three firefighting units an hour to bring the flames under control, said senior fire department officer Shahjahan Sikder.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. "A probe has been ordered to ascertain the exact cause of the fire," he added.
