Couple’s motorbike ride turns tragic hitting a bus in M’sing

Mymensingh, Sept 14 – An army person and his wife, who went for a joy trip riding on a motorbike, died when the motorbike crashed into a truck on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Shikarikanda in Mymensingh city on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Nazmul Pervez, 32, a member of Momenshahi Cantonment and his wife Dilrube Jebin, 23.
Quoting witnesses, Anwar Hossain, inspector of Kotwali Model Police Station, said the accident occurred in the evening near Akua Sarkar Bari when the motorbike carrying the couple dashed the truck from behind, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital morgue.
The couple went out for a joy trip on Friday and met the tragedy while returning to their residence from Trishal upazila of Mymensingh. - UNB
