2 women killed in road accident in Bogura

A woman and her cousin were killed in a motor bike accident at Dhonmundi area of Sherpur upazila under Bogura district this morning.
The accident occurred when a speedy truck hit the motor bike riding by the women from behind leaving them dead on the spot.
The deceased are- Nupur Akhter, 23, daughter of Nazrul Islam, at Bhabanipur village under Gidari union of Sadar upazila and her cousin Runa Akhter, 21, daughter of Abdur Rashid of the same village.
After the accident, locals recued Rakibul, who was driving the bike, and admitted him to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogura with injuries. Later, he was release from the hospital after taking treatment, reports BSS.
