Two killed in Natore road accident

Two persons were killed in a collision between a truck and a battery-run auto-van in Lalpur upazila of the district today.


The deceased were identified as van driver Alfu Thandar, 55, hailed from Baraigram upazila and truck driver Mostakin, 24, a resident of Bagerhat district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bonpara Highway Police Md Ismail Hossain said the accident occurred at around 6 am at Kodimchilan bus stand on the Pabna-Natore highway, reports BSS.

Van driver Alfu died on the spot while truck driver Mostakin died under treatment at Bonpara Patwary General Hospital, he said.

The bodies were kept under the custody of Bonpara Highway Police Thana, the OC added.
