Three Killed in Gazipur Road Crash

Three people were killed when a pickup van carrying vegetables plunged into a roadside canal after losing control in Kaliganj upazila, Gazipur.
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Alauddin of Kaliganj Police Station, the accident occurred around 6 a.m. on Wednesday in the Haridebpur area. The speeding vehicle, en route to Gazipur city from a village, overturned and fell into the water.
The victims, unable to escape the vehicle due to its closed windows, drowned inside. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed, the OC stated.
