One Dead, Four Hurt in Gazipur Bus-Autorickshaw Crash

A fatal accident in Gazipur’s Konabari area on Sunday morning claimed the life of one passenger and left four others injured after a speeding bus collided with an autorickshaw. The victims, whose identities remain undisclosed, were traveling in the three-wheeled vehicle when the Takwawa Paribahan bus struck them.

Md. Nazrul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Konabari Police Station, confirmed that the incident occurred when the bus, reportedly traveling at high speed, crashed into the autorickshaw, killing one male passenger instantly and injuring four others.

Locals quickly responded to the scene, providing assistance and transporting the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment, the OC added. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
