Two killed in Dinajpur road accident

Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road accident on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj highway in Phulbari upazila of the district today.


The deceased were identified as Sohag Hossain, 30, son of Lutfar Rahman of Shahbazpur village in Phulbari municipality and Tozammel Haque, son of Nazmul Haque of Kurshakhali village in Birampur upazila of the district.

The accident took place around 12.30 pm in front of Phulbari municipality when a truck hit a motorcycle, leaving its rider and co-rider dead on the spot, said Inspector AKM Khandaker Mohibul, in-charge of Phulbari Police Station.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital morgue, reports BSS.
