Man trapped between two buses in Dhaka dies

Dhaka, July 23 – A man was killed in a road accident in front of Mugda General Hospital in the capital on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Atikur Rahman, 48, son of late Abdur Rahman of Uttar Islampur under Sadar Police Station in Munshiganj district.

According to his son, Tasin Ahmed, when Atikur was crossing the road in front of the hospital  he got trapped between two buses around 8:30am, leaving him critically injured.

Tasin immediately took his father to Mugda General Hospital.

As his condition deteriorated, doctors referred him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)  where he died.
