2 killed as car hits Mohakhali flyover divider

Two unidentified people were killed and another was  injured when a private car crashed into the divider of  Mohakhali flyover in Amtoli area of Mohakhali on Saturday.


The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Quoting witnesses, police said the accident occurred around 2:30 am when the private car crashed into the divider, leaving three people injured.

One of the injured was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 4:45 am, said inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Police camp, reports UNB. 

Meanwhile, another victim, aged about 40, died at Kurmitola General Hospital on Saturday noon.
