Two youths killed in Bogura accident

Two youths were killed after losing control of their motorcycle on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway in the Gokul Kholarghar area of Bogura Sadar upazila tonight.


The deceased were identified as Jihad Sarkar of Pakurtala area in Mokamtala and Abid Hasan of Rahabal area. Both were 18 years old.

According to eyewitnesses, four youths were returning from Mom Inn in Bogura city, riding on two motorcycles. One of the motorcycles lost control in the Gokul Kholarghar area around 9:30 pm, leaving two riders dead on the spot.

Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Kunderhat Highway Police Station, confirmed the incident and said a highway police team is conducting an investigation at the site, reports BSS.
