Two Teenagers Killed in Jessore Road Crash
Two teenagers were killed today when their motorcycle collided with a sand-laden trolley in the Jahangirpur area of Chowgachha Upazila here today.
The deceased were identified as Imon Hossain (15), son of Intaz Hossain, and Ashraful Islam (15), son of Torikul Islam. Both victims hailed from Bashapol Kaliakundu village in the same upazila.
Anwar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chowgachha Police Station, confirmed the incident.
According to the OC, Imon and Ashraful were heading towards Chowgachha Bazar on a motorcycle along the Jhikargachha-Chowgachha road at around 11:00 am. As they reached the Bhadra intersection of Jahangirpur village, their motorcycle collided head-on with a sand-laden trolley, leaving the two dead on the spot.
Upon receiving the information, police promptly rushed to the spot, recovered the bodies, and sent them to the Chowgachha Upazila Health Complex, reports BSS.
The OC added that legal procedures are currently underway in this connection.
