Two killed in Rajbari road accident

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Pangsha West Kurapara under Pangsha upazila of the district last night.


The deceased were identified as Miraj, son of Ibrahim Hossain, and Sajeeb, son of Saidul Islam, both residents of Kurapara village of the upazila.

The accident occurred around 10:00 pm on the Rajbari–Kushtia regional highway when a truck hit a motorcycle from behind, police said.

Officer-in-Charge of Pangsha Police Station Sheikh Mominul Islam said the victims were traveling toward Pangsha town on a motorcycle when the speeding truck hit them, killing one rider on the spot and another injured, reports BSS. 

Injured Miraj was taken to a nearby hospital where on-duty physician declared him dead.
