Actress Nowshaba remanded again for 2 Days

Dhaka, 10 Aug – Actress Kazi Nowshaba Ahmed has been remanded for second spell of two days in a case filed under the Information, communication and Technology Act (ICT) on Friday. After four-day remand on Friday (August 10th), police produced Nowsha before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate’s court.
During this time, the investigating officer appealed for a ten-day remand for a proper investigation of the case. After the hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Amirul Haider Chowdhury granted two days remand.
Nawshaba repented for her actions during the hearing today and said she was overwhelmed with emotion while posting the live video on Facebook.
Earlier, police took Nowshaba four-day remand in a case filed with ICT by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Uttara West Police Station in the capital. RAB filed a case against her for spreading a rumour on social media.
Earlier On August 3, while student protest on the street for a safer road at Science lab, Dhaka Attack film actress Kazi Nawashaba appeared on Facebook Live at that time and said that four people were killed and four female were at Dhanmondi Awami League office and requested to save those who were stuck there.
But such thing did not happen there and later it was found that his live talk of death and rape news was a rumour.
However, many people believed that because she is an actress who came live. The video coming out of her live went viral in a short time.
For his rumours students had become more aggressive and attacked the Awami league party office which turned a battleground for the next two days. – Staff Reporter
