Mona assumes charge as KDA Chairman

Khulna city unit BNP President Advocate SM Shafiqul Alam Mona today formally assumed charge as Chairman of the Khulna Development Authority (KDA), pledging to transform Khulna into a modern, planned and livable city.


After taking over the responsibility, Mona said his priority would be to ensure planned urban development, environmental protection and modern infrastructure construction to improve the quality of life of city residents.

"We will develop Khulna in such a way that people can live in peace and comfort and enjoy a healthy environment," he said.

The new KDA chairman expressed his determination to turn Khulna into a model city through people-oriented development initiatives and sustainable urban planning.

Seeking cooperation from all sections of society, he urged city residents to extend their support, suggestions and prayers to help him fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him.

Mona also reaffirmed his commitment to working for the overall development and sustainable growth of Khulna, reports BSS.
