Additional Sec Monirul Islam appointed as DG, ACC

The government has appointed Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Mohammad Monirul Islam as the new Director General (DG) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
A notification regarding the appointment was issued here yesterday by the Ministry of Public Administration. According to the notification, he has been appointed to the ACC as its DG on deputation.
The order was signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Noor-e-Alam. Copies of the notification have been sent to the Cabinet Division, the Prime Minister’s Office and other relevant ministries and authorities for necessary action, reports BSS.
