Three Secretaries Transferred in Major Administrative Reshuffle
The government has reshuffled three secretary-level officials, including the secretary of the Public Division under the President’s Office.
The Public Administration Ministry issued separate notifications on Friday announcing the transfers and appointments.
Under the new orders, AJM Salahuddin Nagari, chairman of the Land Reform Board, has been appointed secretary of the Public Division of the President’s Office.
Mohang Shawkat Rashid Chowdhury, secretary of the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division, has been appointed chairman of the Land Reform Board, with the rank of secretary.
Meanwhile, Rafiqul I Mohammad, who was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Public Division of the President’s Office as secretary just 11 days ago, has been transferred again.
The contractual official has now been appointed secretary of the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division.
The latest orders bring changes to three important secretary-level positions within the administration.
