Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Khalilur Rahman, also an additional secretary of the government, has been promoted as Secretary and appointed as Secretary to the Land Ministry.

Rangpur’s Divisional Commissioner Sabirul Islam has been posted as divisional commissioner of Dhaka.

Security Service Division Additional Secretary Habibur Rahman has been transferred to Rangpur as  Divisional Commissioner.

On March 23, Land Ministry Secretary Mustafizur Rahman was transferred to the Public Security Division as its Secretary. He will replace Public Security Division Senior Secretary Aminul Islam Khan, who is due to go on post retirement leave (PRL) from March 31, at the age of 59 years.

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha Chairman Anisur Rahman Miah, also a Secretary of the government, has gone on post retirement leave (PRL) from Wednesday. The government has made him officer on special duty (OSD) on Wednesday to facilitate his PRL.

For the same reason, Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation Chairman Shahidul Haque Bhuiyan was also made an OSD.

Actor Liakat Ali Lucky’s contractual appointment as Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has been extended for the seventh time on  completion of 12 years as Director General of Shilpakala Academy.

His contract has been extended by two years.
