161 BGB platoons deployed across the country

A total of 161 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were deployed across the country to maintain law and order.

22 BGB platoons have been deployed in Dhaka and adjoining districts to avert any untoward incident, according to the BGB statement.

A dawn-to-dusk hartal enforced by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its like-minded parties is underway across the country on Thursday (November 30). The hartal started at 6am and will continue till 6pm.
