The University Grants Commission (UGC) formed a fact-finding committee to investigate the rape incident that took place inside Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Saturday night.

UGC Secretary Dr Ferdous Zaman confirmed this to Dhaka Tribune on Wednesday.

“The probe committee will investigate the reason and the responsible body behind this rape incident inside Jahangirnagar University.
