Qatar Charity has provided essential food supplies to orphans and families in need in Bangladesh. This initiative has benefited 20,000 individuals.

As part of its Social Welfare Project, this initiative emphasises the organisation's ongoing dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable populations and supporting their basic needs, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Officials from Qatar Charity's Bangladesh office distributed the food packages from its orphan centres across the country.

Dr Amin Hafiz Omar, Country Director of Qatar Charity, was present at the distribution program in Hazi Asmat Orphan Care Centre in Bhairab, Kishoreganj, reports UNB.

The food packages included a variety of essential items such as rice, cooking oil, salt, sugar, various spices, and potatoes.
