The government has promoted 196 deputy secretaries to joint secretary, according to a notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry on Thursday.

The notification specifies that officers whose office or workplace has changed since the promotion order must submit a joining letter, detailing their current office address.

Additionally, the authorities reserve the right to amend or cancel the order if any discrepancies are found. Promoted officials are instructed to submit their joining letters either directly to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration or via email (sa1@mopa.gov.bd).
