Govt cancels contractual appointment of M Siraj Uddin

The government has cancelled the contractual appointment of M Siraj Uddin Mia to the post of Principal Secretary of Chief Adviser based on his resignatioin application.
In a gazette notification dated Feb 16, 2026, the Ministry of Public Administration said that the contractual appointment of M Saraj Uddin Mia to the post of Principal Secretary was revoked, reports UNB.
