Recently more than 20 types of different crops’ hybrid and HYV seeds and some other agricultural inputs were distributed among the farmers of Ramu Upazila under the "Project for establishing family nutrition gardens on uncultivated fallow land and in the yards of homesteads." Both male and female farmers of the area received seeds from the Upazila Krishi Office under the supervision of Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAO) Tanzila Rahman. The distribution program was attended by Upazila Fisheries Officer, Water Resources Officer and all the Sub-Assistant Agriculture Extension Officers.

Public Representative and a host of journalists also attended the program.

Farmers were very happy to get the agricultural inputs and refreshed their commitment to boost crop production including vegetables by using the agri-inputs they received.
