Naseeruddin Shah to star in Bangladesh film ‘Project Omi’
Acclaimed Indian film and stage actor Naseeruddin Shah has signed for Bangladeshi film, ‘Project Omi’.
Dhaka, Dec 19 : Acclaimed Indian film and stage actor Naseeruddin Shah has signed for Bangladeshi film, ‘Project Omi’, a science fiction thriller.
Kazi Production House of Bangladesh and UK producer Jenny Walker will jointly produce the film.
Amit Ashraf, a director of the film, said “Naseeruddin liked the story and the character of the film and he has given his schedule for shooting which will be started in the upcoming year. The work to cast other actors and actresses is underway as an audition round for selecting artists is going on.”
The main theme of the film ‘Project Ami’ is about 2050. A hacker and a digital artist made a virtual artificial intelligence (AI) robot and it will present the Omi character who will fight against the virtual terrorists of dark web, said Amit, reports UNB.
