Boeing, US tech contributing to Bangladesh aviation: Envoy

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen today said Boeing aircraft and US airport security technology are contributing to the expansion of Bangladesh's aviation sector, an important component of the country's economy.


He made the remarks during a meeting with Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat at the Secretariat here, according to the US embassy here. 

Ambassador Christensen congratulated Millat on his recent appointment as civil aviation and tourism minister.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed how Boeing aircraft and US airport security technology are contributing to the expansion of Bangladesh's aviation sector.

They also discussed issues related to the development of the country's civil aviation and tourism sector and cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States in this regard, reports BSS.
