Dhaka by-polls: Gulshan-Banani banks to remain shut

All banks and non-banking financial institutions in Gulshan, Cantonment and Banani are remain closed on Monday as by-polls voting to Dhaka-17 constituency .



All banks and non-banking financial institutions in Gulshan, Cantonment and Banani are remain closed on Monday as by-polls voting to Dhaka-17 constituency is underway.

However, the essential departments of the head offices of banks and financial institutions (if any) located in the constituency will remain open on a limited scale.

Mobile Services Providers (MFS), Payment System Operators (PSOs) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) will remain closed in election-related areas. If there are head offices of MFS, PSO and PSP in those areas, they will remain open on a limited basis.
