Islami Bank achieves Global Islamic Finance Awards

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has achieved the GIFA Awards 2024 in the category of “Most Outstanding Islamic Bank 2024” conferred by UK-based Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA). This was handed over at the Global Islamic Finance Summit held on 17 September 2024 at Paradise Island, Maldives. Senior officials from international regulatory agencies, bank and non-banking financial institutions participated in the event.

Md. Obayed Ullah Al Masud, Chairman and Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director of the Bank are with Award and Certificate. Md. Abdul Jalil, Chairman, Executive Committee, Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, Chairman, Risk Management Committee, Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS, Chairman, Audit Committee, Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Independent Director, Md. Omar Faruk Khan and Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Directors, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdus Samad, Member Secretary of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee, Dr. M Kamaluddin Jasim & Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, Senior Executive Vice Presidents were present at the time.
