Islami Bank wins Visa Payment Excellence Awards-2024

IBBPLC has won Visa Payment Excellence Awards 2024.

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has achieved Visa Payment Excellence Awards-2024 in three categories. The bank won the “Excellence in Consumer Cards-Debit”, “Excellence in Islamic Banking Cards” and “Excellence in E-Commerce Payments” awards for highest card transactions.

The awards werepresented in VISA Leadership Conclave-2024 ceremony held recently at a local hotel in Dhaka. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), handed over the awards to Md Maznuzzaman, Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, executive vice presidents of Islami Bank.

James Gardiner, foreign service officer of the US Embassy in Dhaka, Rafeza Akter Kanta, director of the Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank along with the officials from different organizations were present at the ceremony. – Press release
