IBBL starts payment of automated treasury challan

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has started payment of government revenue and fees through automated treasury challans. Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank inaugurated the service on Wednesday, 30 June 2021 at Islami Bank Tower as the Chief Guest.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank presided over the inaugural function. Dr. Mohammad Hossain, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Md. Sharifur Rahman, Senior IT Consultant, Finance Division, Mohammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors, Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, J.Q.M. Habibullah, FCS, Taher Ahmed Chowdhury, A.A.M. Habibur Rahman and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Mostafizur Rahman Siddiquee and Md. Mahboob Alam, Senior Executive Vice Presidents and Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Executive Vice President and other high officials of IBBL were present in the program.
196 types of government revenue and fees including income tax and passport fee can be paid through this service. Presently the service is available at 20 branches in the capital and all branches, sub-branches and agent outlets of the bank will render the service in phases.
