Islami Bank holds view-exchange meeting with MD

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organized a view-exchange meeting with Md. Omar Faruk Khan, managing director (current charge) and the executives of head office, zones and branch incumbents on 7 April, 2025, Monday at the Islami Bank Tower.

Md. Altaf Hossain, additional managing director of the bank, presided over the program while Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, additional managing director of the bank, delivered the welcome speech and A.K.M. Mahbub Morshed, Senior Executive Vice President expressed vote of thanks. Mahmudur Rahman, deputy managing director, addressed the program as special guest. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, Dr. M. Kamaluddin Jasim and Md. Maksudur Rahman, deputy managing directors along with the heads of wings and divisions of the head office, heads of 16 zones and managers of 400 branches, in-charges of 265 sub-branches of the bank participated in the program.

Md. Omar Faruk Khan, in his speech as the chief guest said that Islami Bank is the bank of our heart. Our main strength is the unity and discipline. Islamic Banking is not only a profession but also a worship. He remarked that all concerned need to work together to take Islami Bank forward. He also noted that we need to sustain our strives to reach the doorsteps of all walks of life with all of the Islami Banking services amalgamating honesty, sincerity and proficiency.

He also urged all concerned to work with sincerity forgetting all sadness and also gave importance on carrying out banking activities with utmost professionalism while the bank is rebounding from the pit-fall.
