BRAC Bank and Priyoshop sign MoU.
Dhaka, June 16, 2025: BRAC Bank has partnered with Priyoshop to expand access to digitally processed financing for rural and semi-urban micro merchants—offering faster, simplified loans with minimal documentation.
Priyoshop, a leading platform supporting small businesses with inventory, logistics, and digital tools, has been onboarded as an official promoter of BRAC Bank’s digital lending platform, Shafollo.
As a Shafollo Promoter, Priyoshop will collaborate with BRAC Bank to raise awareness of its digitally processed loan services among thousands of micro merchants on its platform.
Eligible merchants will now have easier access to Shafollo and Jibika—BRAC Bank’s digitally enabled loan facilities—through an end-to-end paper-light process covering onboarding, disbursement, and repayment.
This partnership addresses two core barriers in the MSME sector—limited market access and constrained access to formal credit—by combining Priyoshop’s extensive merchant network with BRAC Bank’s digital lending expertise.
Syed Abdul Momen, Additional Managing Director and Head of SME Banking, BRAC Bank, said: “This partnership reflects BRAC Bank’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion through innovation. By embedding digitally processed lending into Priyoshop’s ecosystem, we are removing friction and expanding access to formal credit for micro merchants nationwide. This model has the potential to reshape rural entrepreneurship.”
Asikul Alam Khan Sujon, Founder, Managing Director and CEO, Priyoshop, said: “Our mission is to empower micro-merchants with the tools they need to grow. Structured financing plays a vital role in that journey. As a Shafollo Promoter, we are proud to connect our merchants with BRAC Bank’s seamless lending solutions, enabling stronger and more resilient businesses.”
Dipty Mandal, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Priyoshop, along with senior officials from both organisations, attended the signing ceremony. – Press release
