Dhaka, Thursday, September 18, 2025: BRAC Bank has inaugurated a new sub-branch at Uposhahar area of Rajshahi City. With this addition, the bank’s sub-branch network now comprises 103 branches.

The bank’s Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan formally inaugurated the sub-branch at Monowara Max Tower, Dorikhorbona Road, Rajshahi Uposhahar on September 17, 2025.

Deputy Managing Director and COO Md. Sabbir Hossain and Senior Zonal Head for North A. K. M. Tareq, and senior officials of the bank's Distribution Network were present.

The opening of the sub-branch in Rajshahi, which is renowned for its educational institutions and cash crops such as mangoes and silk, will enable business and individual customers to access smart banking services conveniently.

BRAC Bank launched the Sub-branch Network as part of its multi-channel distribution strategy, aiming to bring the best banking services to customers across the country.

The new sub-branch will offer a range of modern banking services that will provide convenience to individual and business customers. Customers can avail of all banking services such as account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, deposit pension scheme, fund transfer using EFTN and RTGS, remittance service, utility bill, credit card, student file, consumer loan, debit card, and chequebook processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and many more, except for foreign exchange services.

The bank’s expansive network includes 294 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME Unit Offices, and 1,121 Agent Banking Outlets, making it one of the largest in Bangladesh. – Press release
