The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed 23 persons into Bangladesh through the Kushkhali border under Satkhira Sadar upazila early this morning.

The Indian forces reportedly pushed them in around 5:30 am. However, their citizenship and identities had not been confirmed as of noon.

Subedar Mejbah Uddin, commander of the Kushkhali Border Outpost (BOP), said the 23 individuals were detained and later sent to the 33 BGB Battalion Headquarters in Satkhira, reports BSS.
