The government has suspended the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) benefits of 13 teachers serving at different madrasahs across the country.

They were suspended after their teacher registration certificates and recommendation letters issued by the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) were found to be forged and fake.

At the same time, the government ordered the cancellation of their index numbers from the May MPO sheet, the recovery of all salaries and allowances withdrawn by them to date by depositing the money into the government treasury and the initiation of legal action against them.

The information was disclosed in an office order issued by the Directorate of Madrasah Education today, reports BSS.
