RAKUB, NBIU sign MoU to boost education, research

Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) and North Bengal International University (NBIU) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in education, research, human resource development and financial inclusion.


The agreement was signed at RAKUB's head office here on Thursday afternoon by NBIU Director of Accounts Ashraful Huda and RAKUB Deputy General Manager Mohammad Ziaul Haque on behalf of their respective institutions.

The agreement will also facilitate joint research in education, information technology, rural development and finance

RAKUB Chairman Professor Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman and NBIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Sayedur Rahman, among others, attended the ceremony.

Officials said the MoU would strengthen collaboration between the banking and higher education sectors in the country's northern region, reports BSS.
