Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar new VC of Rajshahi University

Rajshahi:  The Director of the Institute of Environmental Science of Rajshahi University Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar on Sunday has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Rajshahi University.

A gazette notification has been issued by the education ministry in this regard.

The notice says, President Abdul Hamid, chancellor of the university appointed professor Golam Sabbir Sattar according to section 11(2) of the 1973 act of Rajshahi University. He will act in the post for 4 years since the appointment.

He will be provided the salary and conveniences are determined for the current post. He will act his responsibility according to the statute law of the university. The President and chancellor of the university can set aside the appointment if necessary. – RU Correspondent
