RU admission-seekers went for admission test on Monday



Rajshahi: Admission tests for admission to Rajshahi University undergraduate for the 2020-21 academic session started on Monday at the university campus.

'C' unit 1st shift exams started at 9.30 am and ended at 10.30 am. The 2nd and 3rd shift examinations are being held from 12.00 pm -01.00 pm and from 3.00 pm - 04.00 pm respectively.

According to the university authorities, a total of 44 thousand and 194 candidates applied for 'C' unit, 43 thousand and 558 for 'A' unit, and 39 thousand and 895 for 'B' unit.

Scope was created for a total of 1 lakh and 35 thousand applicants for participating in the admission examinations of the university against which 1 lakh 27 thousand and 646 candidates applied for the admission tests.

RU pro-vice-chancellor professor Sultan Ul Islam said, We have already completed all the preparations for the admission test. 'C' unit exams have started today. Law enforcers are working to ensure security on the campus.

'A' unit exams will be held on Tuesday and 'B' unit exams on October 06. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift examinations of 'A' and 'B' units have been scheduled as those the C unit on respective days.

The University authority allowed female candidates to stay in the female residential halls but no guardians are allowed.

Male candidates are suffering from accommodation problems. University students have been struggling for accommodation as the residential halls have not been opened yet. – RU Correspondent
